Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our team at a leading pharmaceutical company in the Boston area. This is a 6-month contract opportunity that requires a strong background in EHS and experience in a R&D pharma environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide EHS support to the site's Facilities and Project Management Teams.
  • Collaborate with Facilities and Project Management Teams to offer guidance and support for high-risk activities.
  • Support site capital projects and manufacturing plant shutdowns.
  • Oversee EHS functions in manufacturing areas, warehouses, laboratories, and offices.
  • Maintain EHS permits and licenses.
  • Perform required inspections and investigations.
  • Gather and analyze data for reports and EHS software management.
  • Develop and deliver training programs.
  • Assemble metrics and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Focus on EHS project and program ownership.
Qualifications:
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 6 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors (required)
