About the Role

Garnet Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Access Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our healthcare system.

Responsibilities
  • Collect accurate and complete patient information to ensure proper care and billing.
  • Register patients in all ancillary areas of the Patient Access Department.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to resolve issues and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least six months of customer service experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to obtain and record information accurately required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including data entry systems and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of insurance and medical terminology highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Working Conditions

This role requires occasional lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The position involves mostly sitting with periods of standing and walking. The work environment is clean, well-lit, and heated or ventilated.

Compensation

The hourly compensation for this role is $18.27-$18.82. Salaries may vary based on location, experience, and other factors.
