Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Support: Review contractual commitments, customer specifications, and related information to determine logistics or support requirements.
  • Process Analysis: Analyze logistics processes and delegate task requirements to team members.
  • Performance Oversight: Monitor the performance of 3PL subcontractors performing on IPS deliverables.
  • Product Output Management: Manage, verify, and ensure accuracy of IPS product outputs by the team.
  • Logistics Solutions: Determine logistics support requirements and propose logistics solutions based on front-end analysis and customer requirements.
  • Configuration Management: Manage the configuration management and workflow for all CDRL submissions.
  • Business Development: Develop logistic metrics, internal analysis tools, or key performance indicators for business development or project financial status.
  • Research and Development: Research technical specifications, related program documents, engineering drawings, 3-D animations/job aids, and maintenance videos.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree in business, and/or Technical/Professional Writing. Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years managerial experience with a minimum of 7 years of experience with Integrated Logistics/Product Support and database management preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Experience with the identification, retrieval, review, interpretation, and implementation of statutes, regulations, or standard operating procedures in a military, DoD civilian, or commercial environment. Knowledge of interpreting statements of work, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and performance Requirements Documents (PRD). Competent technical aptitude in automotive, mechanical, and electrical principles. Excellent communication skill along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees, and managers. Familiarity with use of XML, SGML, or HTML editing software and document development.
