Restaurant Manager Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Circle K operated restaurant. The Restaurant Manager has full responsibility for the business, including people, operations, and financial metrics. This role reports directly to the Restaurant District Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, coaching and correcting team members as necessary
  • Recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard all positions
  • Maintain a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties, delegating responsibilities and ensuring completion
  • Establish and maintain the production management system, ensuring all food items are prepared and served in accordance with Brand, Company, and health department regulations
  • Direct team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management, ensuring product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records, communicating with the Restaurant District Manager as required
  • Complete all daily, weekly, and period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, schedules, and administrative duties as required
  • Guarantee a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes, reporting facility issues to maintenance
  • Conduct team member check-ins, providing positive feedback badges in Workday, and using recognition to reinforce positive behaviors and performance
  • Implement progressive discipline to address deficiencies in performance or failure to adhere to company policies or regulatory requirements
  • Train a Restaurant Assistant Manager to be capable of successfully operating the restaurant in the absence of the RGM

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years restaurant management experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid state Driver's License required
  • Serv Safe Manager certification preferred
