Main Bank Cashier Job Description

As a Main Bank Cashier at the Inn of the Mountain Gods, you will play a critical role in supporting casino gaming operations by performing and recording cash transactions. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Handling: Process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and exchanges, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve event goals, exemplifying teamwork and a positive attitude.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, as well as the Casino Internal Control Structure (ICS).
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or six months experience and/or training.
  • Experience: Previous employment with the Inn of the Mountain Gods will be considered as experience, along with satisfactory work history such as job performance, attendance, and responsibility.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position include standing for several hours, using hands to handle or feel, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

The work environment is loud, and the team member may be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment, biohazardous fluids, and high-stress environments.
