Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for Precision Solutions.

ROLE SUMMARY

Your primary focus will be on fostering client relationships and driving sales of Precision Solutions within your designated territory. You will maintain regular communication with customers and actively pursue new business opportunities. This role demands an organized individual with exceptional communication and planning abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, and clients, while navigating a variety of evolving products in complex markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following outlines the essential functions of this role, though additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.
  • Identify and engage new clients, presenting our product offerings through in-person meetings.
  • Reach out to potential customers via phone when face-to-face interactions are not feasible.
  • Build and nurture relationships with both new and existing accounts.
  • Conduct regular visits to all assigned accounts at least twice annually.
  • Provide sales materials and product literature to clients and prospects.
  • Update customers on new product innovations and enhancements.
  • Identify and engage decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Follow up with customers in writing as needed after initial contact.
  • Recognize and pursue new prospects within the territory.
  • Successfully cultivate sales potential, achieving significant market penetration and acceptable profit margins as defined by management.
  • Collaborate with other sales representatives and divisions to share leads for all company products and services.
  • Present product features and benefits to clients in person, ensuring their specific needs are met.
  • Provide detailed written quotes that outline the cost benefits of our products compared to competitors.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of sold systems.
  • Follow up post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and acceptance of the product.
  • Accurately forecast sales volumes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Work with the sales team to promote technology products to our clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities in our CRM system.
  • Report all sales promptly to facilitate timely billing.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our product line and its applications.
  • Deliver products to clients and provide training on their integration into operations.
  • Approach sales methodically, addressing objections and thoroughly understanding customer needs until the sale is finalized.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals to clients and prospects.
  • Communicate with the finance department to establish acceptable terms for sales transactions.
  • Travel locally and regionally as required, with some overnight travel expected.
  • Utilize personal or company vehicles as necessary.
  • Exhibit consistent, reliable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

A valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record is required.
