Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and Test new circuit ports and logical cross-connections to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Resolve Design Discrepancies with our planning team to ensure accurate circuit designs.
  • Perform Remote Logical Grooms of Transport circuits from old to new paths, utilizing your expertise in various network equipment.
  • Validate Grooms are successful with no outstanding alarms, ensuring our network is running smoothly.
  • De-Provision Old Circuit Paths and ports to maintain a clean and efficient network.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Telecommunications Experience with 3/1/0 cross-connect systems, various telecom network elements, Central Office practices, network/circuit engineering, circuit provisioning, wiring standards, TL1, and circuit troubleshooting.
  • Working Knowledge of DWDM, IP Grooms, and Provisioning Experience working remote logical grooms of transport circuits.
