Job Title: Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Oncology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Oncology team at HealthONE. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the unit's director or designee, the Clinical Nurse Coordinator assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on their designated shifts. This includes ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, making decisions regarding activities with these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care for the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions during the designated shift.
  • Functions as a resource person for staff members and assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
  • Assumes responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided when they are on duty.
  • Makes decisions regarding activities with these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care for the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
  • BLS required from AHA or American Red Cross.
  • Chemotherapy certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
  • Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of their unit and leadership/management experience is preferred.
