Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team at Buckingham Senior Living. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating lifestyle programs that promote the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule lifestyle programs, including events, activities, and outings, to promote resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate community events, including setup, execution, and breakdown, to ensure a seamless experience for residents and guests.
  • Develop and implement holiday and special event programs that cater to the interests and needs of our residents.
  • Coordinate holiday decorations and ensure a festive atmosphere throughout the community.
  • Prepare and distribute a calendar of events to keep residents informed and engaged.
  • Distribute the community newsletter and provide ongoing communication with residents and their families.
  • Assist in the leadership of our wellness program and work closely with the Director to ensure its success.
  • Supervise and organize a volunteer staff to support lifestyle programs and events.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with residents, guests, and staff in a professional and hospitable manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy of our residents at all times.
Requirements
  • One to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology or Recreational Therapy, or an Activity Director Certification, preferred.
