Service Order Processing Specialist

Position Summary
The Outbound Service Logistics Technician is responsible for managing the processing of outgoing service orders and preparing components for dispatch. Additional responsibilities may include cleaning electronic components, conducting basic functionality tests, and organizing inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and fulfill service orders efficiently
- Ensure organization and cleanliness in the Service Hardware Group storage areas
- Maintain and care for company assets, including office and technical equipment
- Physical tasks may include moderate lifting and working at heights using ladders and lift platforms
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient computer and networking skills are essential
- Experience in customer service is preferred
- Excellent written communication abilities
- Strong verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and adherence to established procedures
- Ability to manage numerical data, including inventory cycle counts
- Physical capability for moderate lifting and working on ladders
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear; capable of stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Regularly lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
Education and Certifications
- Knowledge of networking and PC systems is required
- An Associate's degree in electronics technology or networking is preferred
