Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new websites and applications using various technologies and frameworks.
  • Maintain the security and standards of our online presence, working closely with the UH ITS and web technical team.
  • Ensure that our websites and online content are accessible and compliant with various accessibility standards.
  • Develop and implement an evaluation strategy to measure the effectiveness of our websites and online digital platforms.
  • Coordinate with various departments and teams to ensure consistent visual image and branding of our online presence.
Requirements
  • Possession of a pertinent baccalaureate educational degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
  • 3 years of progressively responsible professional information technology experience with responsibilities for computer systems, hardware, and software associated with web design, content, and application development.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Considerable working knowledge of web design and application development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Experience with content management systems such as Cascade, WordPress, and Drupal.
  • Proficient understanding of the Adobe Suite and other graphic design tools.
