Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is a leading operator of RV resorts, manufactured home communities, and apartment communities in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at CAL-AM PROPERTIES INC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will oversee daily landscape maintenance of all common areas and perform day-to-day landscape operations along with facility maintenance.

Job Summary:

  • Lead and supervise maintenance and landscaping staff to maintain all common areas of the community
  • Perform various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community
  • Oversee personnel in the maintenance and landscaping departments
  • Coordinate and supervise major repairs and Cap-ex projects performed by licensed vendors
  • Maintain optimal performance of building systems including mechanical, electrical/electronic, and HVAC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with pool maintenance and complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on grounds work, equipment maintenance, and general tasks
  • Monitor and/or control maintenance, housekeeping, and landscaping inventory and/or supplies
  • Respond to resident service/emergency maintenance requests and concerns in a timely manner
  • Obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; order parts as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate pricing
  • Meet and report daily with management on department status, work progress, and setting priorities

Requirements:

  • PREFERRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED, or Trade school
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3 years of maintenance and repair experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license along with good driving record and auto insurance required
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, and all aspects of landscaping
