Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled junior level maintenance engineer to assist in a variety of mechanical repairs, including servicing motorized equipment, overhauling, repairing, and lubricating automotive, turf, and other outdoor powered equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director of Engineering to keep him updated on the completion of daily repairs.
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
  • Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
  • Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the department manager.
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.

Requirements:

  • High School or equivalent education; up to one-two years related building maintenance experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skilled knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Skilled knowledge using hand and electrical tools.
  • HVAC certification a plus.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to physically reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to work under variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold, indoors/outdoors).
  • Must be able to work around chemicals, dust, fumes, and/or odor hazards.
