Heavy Equipment Specialist

As a Heavy Equipment Specialist with Richardson Construction Co., you will operate heavy machinery like excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders to support construction and engineering projects. The ideal candidate must possess 3-5 years of experience in operating heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, earthmovers, motor graders, and off-road trucks. A strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to work independently is essential.
About the Role
You will be responsible for clearing, grubbing, excavating, compacting, rough grading, and fine grading operations using available equipment. Other duties include performing periodic maintenance checks, minor repair work, and informing management of major repairs or maintenance needs. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure are required. We offer an estimated salary range of $55,000 - $85,000 per year.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have valid driver's license and physical strength to operate heavy equipment for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in teams is also necessary. Experience in working at heights and operating complex machinery is desirable.
