Position Overview
Delaware North Gaming is seeking dedicated full-time or part-time Food Runners to enhance our Betly Sports Bar operations at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Food Runner, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently transport food from the kitchen to our patrons while adapting to the dynamic environment of the restaurant.
Compensation
This role is a tipped position, and the hourly minimum pay does not account for potential tips.
Hourly Rate: $17.00

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-shift meetings, noting essential service information.
- Work collaboratively with the Chef, kitchen staff, and servers to ensure prompt food preparation and delivery; assist in assembling dishes.
- Perform any necessary table-side service, which may include taking and delivering orders and explaining menu items to guests.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods; be able to identify menu items and ingredients visually.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in both the kitchen and dining areas.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience or training as a Runner or Busser in a similar dining environment preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- No high school diploma or GED is necessary.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions; may involve navigating stairs.
- Capability to lift up to 35 pounds for setup, service, and cleanup.
- Adequate mobility to maneuver between tables and around corners.
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for taking orders and preparing checks.
