Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Transportation Planning Organization Executive Director in maintaining and updating the Unified Planning Work Program.

  • Provide administrative support to the Transportation Planning Organization Executive Director and the Office of Planning and Development Director.
  • Manage the daily operations of the Transportation Planning Organization, including supervising staff, delegating tasks, and evaluating performance.
  • Develop and implement customer service standards, operational policies, and procedures for the Transportation Planning Organization.
  • Prepare budget recommendations for division equipment and staffing needs.
  • Perform related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited high school or possess an acceptable equivalency diploma and have a minimum of six (6) years office management experience, including three (3) years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to type 40 CWPM with no more than 10 errors.
  • Ability to utilize all features afforded by word processing, spreadsheet, and online software as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to secure a valid Florida driver's license at the time of employment.
