This position is located at the Support Services Division, part of the Fort Moore Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) organization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all real property sustainment, restoration, modernization, and new construction projects for the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Directorate (MWRD) at the garrison level.
  • Perform work of broad scope and complexity, requiring the application of demonstrated ability to interpret, select, adapt, and apply many guidelines, precedents, and engineering principles and practices.
  • Develop and maintain a current inventory of all garrison MWR and lodging facilities.
  • Maintain installation population and other support requirements data used as the basis for project justifications.
  • Design or supervise the design of projects less than $200K.
  • Assist in the design and design reviews of all capital purchase and minor construction (CPMC) over $200K.
  • Provide overall management of assigned projects.
  • Review project plans and specifications.
  • Inspect material and equipment delivered to the site to ensure they meet required specifications.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the organization, mission, policies, and three to five years governing project development, design, and execution is highly desirable.
  • Work experience managing construction projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Highly Preferred Criteria
  • Experience managing general construction, sustainment, restoration, or modernization projects.
  • General or specialized project management experience.

PCS Costs

Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are negotiable, based on a determination that a PCS is in the Government's interest.

Expenses may not exceed the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).

Allowances and Differentials

This is a pay-banded position.

Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.

If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure, and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay.

Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).

Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.

When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between

Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid
