Summary:
Under close supervision, responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all designated areas of the Laramie County office buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently collects and disposes of waste in all workspaces.
  • Thoroughly cleans, dusts, and sanitizes surfaces including desks, blinds, countertops, and tables.
  • Utilizes commercial-grade vacuum cleaners to clean carpets and upholstery.
  • Conducts sweeping and mopping of floors in various rooms and hallways.
  • Ensures restrooms are cleaned, disinfected, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Identifies areas needing maintenance, repairs, or additional cleaning services.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiarity with cleaning tools, supplies, and chemicals.
  • Understanding of general safety protocols.
  • Ability to perform manual cleaning tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using commercial cleaning products and equipment.
  • Skill in safely operating power cleaning machinery.
  • Capability to follow verbal and basic written instructions.
  • Commitment to completing assigned tasks as directed.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and the public.

Minimum Requirements:
Availability for evening shifts from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Monday-Friday). Laramie County offers a competitive benefits package.
