Job Summary

CMP is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a NICU/PICU setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU and PICU, including ventilation management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve their respiratory function.
  • Operate and maintain complex respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current RRT certification and Indiana state licensure.
  • At least 18 months of recent experience in NICU or PICU settings.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PALS certification.
  • Experience with trauma 1 care in a children's hospital.
