Job Summary:

The Senior Maintenance Manager, Stamping Operations will be responsible for leading the maintenance team in the company's world-class greenfield stamping plant. This individual will oversee the maintenance of equipment, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and work closely with various teams to achieve production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a cross-functional team of machinists, electrical and mechanical technicians
  • Knowledge of robots, conveyors, tooling, and troubleshooting abilities for various manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and other related theories and concepts for proper troubleshooting and problem analysis
  • Welding, milling, and pipefitting knowledge
  • Supervise preventive maintenance on all types of equipment, large and small
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, SOP/BOM, and related materials, as well as follow exact instructions
  • Support for all departments as required to maintain and sustain production needs
  • Establish or adjust work schedules to meet production requirements
  • Understand and enforce process compliance throughout the process area's scope of operations
  • Ensure an adequate on-hand spare parts inventory or lead-time system in place to support
  • Continuous improvement of equipment to ensure maximum output
  • Generate proper reports, RCCA, and associated corrective measures on all incidents to proactively decrease the potential of future failures
  • Execute and document all preventive maintenance (PM) activities on assigned equipment
  • Work closely with all facets of the production group to provide technical expertise or assistance
  • Enforce and follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Professional, informative, and responsive communication to customers
  • Be proficient in general office PC programs and equipment monitoring systems

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Journeyman card/trade school certificate and 5+ years process equipment maintenance experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience required
  • Frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and perform other similar actions during the workday
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, overtime, weekends, when necessary
  • 5+ years of machine repair, welding, milling, pipefitting knowledge
  • Experience with STAMPING Press lines highly preferred
  • Demonstrated Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Experience
  • Basic machine repair knowledge
