Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in maintenance operations and a proven track record of success in managing teams and driving results. As a Maintenance Operations Manager at Walmart, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse maintenance department, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and that our facilities are safe and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance of all warehouse equipment, including material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and air compressors.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, and DOT.
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure that maintenance expenses are within budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an industrial maintenance environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
