Job Summary:

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for coordinating shipment requests across regional warehouses and 3PL vendors. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze written and electronic communication, including BOLs, PODs, and reports, to gather and collect data.
  • Generate and maintain reports from SAP on a daily basis, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Reconcile reports from Freight vendors and/or Warehouse vendors to those generated by SAP.
  • Build strong relationships with warehouse, freight vendors, and internal clients to verify and collect necessary proofs of shipments and deliveries.
  • Data entry and troubleshooting of SAP posting errors.
  • Accurate filing and maintenance of documents and records.
  • Generate reports to management on open item volumes and estimated closed dates.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clientele, updating and responding to shipment and inventory inquiries.
  • Provide Freight Quotes in a timely manner to sales representatives.
  • Quarterly domestic travel for Physical Inventory Audits and occasional cross-coverage between Logistics department roles.
Requirements:
  • Detail-oriented and organized individual with 5+ years of warehouse experience.
  • Familiarity with Freight transportation and overall logistics experience.
  • SAP ERP knowledge is a plus, but not required.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and Formulas & Functions.
  • Associates degree required, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally with multiple levels of management.
  • Results-oriented, highly motivated, and detailed individual with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to travel within the Americas on a quarterly basis.
  • Strong adaptability to new systems and technical platforms.
