Position Overview

We are looking for a committed and passionate Culinary Support Specialist to contribute to our dining services. This role focuses on assisting our culinary team in meal preparation for students, faculty, and staff in a PreK-12 educational environment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a genuine enthusiasm for food.

Work Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support food preparation activities including chopping, slicing, and dicing.
  • Adhere to a daily preparation schedule to ensure readiness for the next day.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation protocols diligently.
  • Safely and efficiently operate kitchen equipment.
  • Assist with meal service during lunch hours as required.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food service is preferred.
  • Basic knife skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one.
