Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced OB/GYN physician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat various conditions related to women’s health, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.">
  • Order or perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.">
  • Instruct patients on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.">
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, follow hospitalized patients as appropriate, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.">
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in obstetrics and gynecology through ongoing education and training.">
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and community partners to promote excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

">
  • ">
  • A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.">
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.">
  • A valid medical license in Connecticut.">
  • Current Federal and State controlled substance licenses.">
  • BLS certification and hospital privileges.">
  • Effective communication, listening, and customer service skills.">
  • Experience in obstetrics and gynecology or women’s health preferred.">
  • Eligible for hospital privileges.">
