Physical Therapist Assistant

Pinnacle Home Care Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist Physical Therapists in preparing clinical and daily progress notes, reviewed and submitted according to company policy.
- Perform routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises, and assist patients with the use of self-help devices.
- Instruct patients and family members on exercise programs and provide guidance on physical therapy techniques.
- Identify potential issues with medication and report to the Physical Therapist.
- Record activities and findings in the clinical record and report to the Physical Therapist and physician any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Consult with the Physical Therapist on the outcome of home visits and report physical findings.
- Assist in the evaluation and development of a rehabilitative plan of care and periodic re-evaluation as required.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or equivalent education.
- Licensed to practice as a PTA in the State of Florida.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured.
- Minimum of one year's experience in home healthcare preferred.
- Electronic medical record experience is preferred but not essential.
