About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Radiology Tech Extender II at University Hospitals Health System. As a key member of our radiology team, you will provide essential support to our radiologic technologists in caring for patients and their families during the imaging process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologic technologists with patient assessments, including verifying patient orders and completing patient questionnaires.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Facilitate patient care, including lifting, transporting, and monitoring patients.
  • Assist with radiology computer information and data entry, including the PACS system.
  • Ensure the availability of procedural supplies, including ordering and stocking patient care items.
  • Follow hospital initiatives to meet patient satisfaction goals and adhere to MRI and radiation safety policies and procedures.
Requirements

This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a willingness to learn and grow with our team. You must be enrolled in an approved imaging program and be able to maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
