Job Summary

As a Support Service Technician at Corewell Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by providing essential services across Nutrition Services and Environmental Services.

This dynamic role offers a wide range of tasks, allowing you to engage with patients and staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a pristine and sanitary environment by performing comprehensive cleaning and disinfecting tasks within various departments.
  • Remove medical waste, trash, and linen promptly to contribute to the health and safety of the hospital premises.
  • Maintain the hospital's appearance by performing interim and restorative maintenance of hard floors, carpets, and upholstery.
  • Contribute to patient health and recovery by assisting in the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals as part of the Nutrition Services team.
  • Perform a variety of routine tasks in the Nutrition Services department, following established practices and procedures to support patient nutritional needs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Customer Service experience
