As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure the overall condition of our properties
  • Respond to service requests in a timely and efficient manner, interacting with residents and management to resolve issues
  • Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy, adhering to established timeframes and quality standards
  • Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues promptly and effectively
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities, working in partnership with the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to prepare sites for inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain workplace safety policies and standards, including current COVID-19 protocols
  • Rotate on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs, providing 24/7 support to our residents
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of maintenance/facilities experience, with a preference for affordable housing experience
  • Ability to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed, with the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift
