About the Role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Parking Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in our daily operations, assisting with transactions (limited cash handling) and ensuring a smooth parking experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Process payments from parking customers, confirm amounts due, provide change, issue receipts, and securely deposit payments.
- Reconcile sales with automated counters and maintain accurate financial controls.
- Keep organized daily reports related to parking transactions.
- Address and escalate customer complaints to the appropriate supervisor for resolution.
- Report any unusual incidents or suspicious activities to your supervisor, including necessary details like license plate numbers and vehicle descriptions.

- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as outlined by management, ensuring the facility is clean and free of debris.
- Conduct regular inspections to collect and dispose of trash, both inside and outside the facility.
- Address any maintenance issues, such as burnt-out light bulbs or equipment malfunctions, and submit repair requests as needed.
- Comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.

- Assist in snow removal from designated areas as directed.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workstation and present a professional appearance.
- Provide assistance to parking patrons by answering questions and offering information about campus activities.

Customer Engagement:
- Initiate contact with guests, radiating positivity and a welcoming demeanor.
- Be comfortable interacting with both large groups and individual guests, recognizing the importance of exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to communicate diplomatically with a diverse range of individuals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and talking; ability to stand for extended periods while working rotating shifts; ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Work in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to noise, heat, rain, and cold.
