Position Overview:

Synergy Health Partners is in search of a proficient Medical Director of Anesthesia to guide a dedicated team at TRI-STATE HEALTH, located in the picturesque region of Clarkston, Washington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume the role of Medical Director, working in partnership with executive leadership, medical professionals, and operational staff.
  • Formulate strategies aimed at improving operating room efficiency and implementing innovative services.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence within the surgical department while enhancing your clinical skills.
  • Deliver General Anesthesia Coverage for a variety of cases, including Orthopedic, Robotic, General, B&B, Endoscopy, Urology, and Gastroenterology.
  • Oversee a team of skilled CRNAs managing four operating rooms.
  • Coordinate scheduled procedures throughout the week and address add-ons and emergencies during weekends and holidays.
  • Balance 30% administrative responsibilities with 70% clinical duties.
  • Respond to pager calls during designated hours (5 PM - 7 AM; 1:4 rotation).

Facility Information:

  • Acute Care Hospital environment.
  • 25 available beds.
  • Four operating rooms in active use.
  • EMR system: Meditech; Anesthesia relies on traditional documentation methods.

Compensation Overview:

  • Annual base salary of $570,000.
  • An additional stipend of $48,000 for the Medical Director position, distributed over 12 months.
  • 44 working weeks annually.
  • Signing bonus of $50,000 subject to specific conditions.

Licensing Requirements:

  • Active Washington state license preferred; Synergy provides assistance for obtaining the Washington license.
