Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $55,476 to $105,912, based on a 12-hour shift schedule and an average of 20 or 49 hours per week.

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team in Redlands, CA. As a key member of our ambulance crew, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical care to patients in emergency situations. Your expertise will include assessing call situations, utilizing medical equipment and protocols, and communicating with patients and their loved ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working within progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids, to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patients and their loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a State of California Paramedic License, CPR Card (American Heart Association, Healthcare Provider), ACLS Card (American Heart Association), Ambulance Driver's License from DMV, Medical Examiner's Card from DMV, and a clean driving record in compliance with AMR's Safety and Driving policy.
