We are seeking a skilled Senior Cook to join our team at Wallick Communities. As a Senior Cook, you will play a vital role in providing our residents with a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, season, and cook food according to tested recipes for residents, visitors, and employees.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of large equipment in preparation and serving areas.
  • Plan cooking schedules to ensure food is ready at serving time.
  • Conduct routine temperature checks and taste tests to maintain the quality of products.
  • Set up food in steam tables and deliver more food as needed.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with great customer service skills, flexibility, compassion, and dependability. Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus, but all are encouraged to apply.

Requirements include one to two years of institutional or restaurant experience, ability to communicate with co-workers, residents, family members, and ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
