Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our ICU Step Down Unit team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. You will collaborate with other members of the healthcare delivery team, including physicians, to deliver quality healthcare.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the ICU Step Down Unit
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- RN licensure in Texas or compact state
- CCRN, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred
- Ability to read and write Basic English
- Knowledge of body substance isolation
- Ability to listen, empathize, and respond to patient and family needs
