About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team at Page Southerland Page. As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a critical role in the production of thorough and concise computer-generated engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production of engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications under the supervision of senior designers.
  • Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Assist in spatial coordination with architecture and other engineering systems.
  • Process contractor submittals and perform on-site condition surveys.
  • Produce high-quality work and consistently strive to improve technical quality by staying up-to-date with new technologies and industry advancements.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-discipline teams to produce integrated project documents and ensure integrated design approaches and solutions.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
  • 0 to 8 years of experience in mechanical design.
  • Proficient in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
  • Familiar with standard details and industry standards.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of engineering systems within the mechanical and plumbing disciplines.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic engineering principles and calculations.
  • Demonstrated record of thorough coordination and consistent quality work.
  • Basic understanding of industry standards.
  • Interest in developing automation of routine tasks.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
What We Offer

At Page Southerland Page, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $110,000 - $130,000, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, vision, dental, life, travel, and disability plans, paid time off, and a matching 401(k) retirement plan.
