Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Fire Protection

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in South San Francisco, California. As a Mechanical Engineer - Fire Protection, you will work primarily on CAD-based design projects within the fire sprinkler industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Design fire sprinkler systems and prepare submittal drawings and calculations for tenant improvement projects.
  • Survey existing fire sprinkler systems at jobsites and obtain approved plans and permits.
  • Prepare closeout documents and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD within mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with CAD-based design, specifically in fire protection.
  • Ability to prepare submittal drawings and calculations.
  • Proficiency in surveying existing fire sprinkler systems.
  • Capability to obtain approved plans and permits.
