Job Overview

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a Program Analyst to join our Corporate Staff. This position supports various functions and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial evaluations and generate reports to ensure compliance with contract terms and government cost management standards.
  • Develop budgets for contract initiatives and assist in financial assessments, including funding profiles and variance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate expenditure records and oversee the preparation of funding requests to ensure sufficient budget availability.
  • Monitor and analyze costs, operational budgets, schedules, manpower needs, and material acquisitions to ensure effective cost management and invoicing accuracy.
  • Compile and submit monthly financial and administrative reports to Department of Defense (DoD) clients.
  • Track expenditures and manage funding distribution to subcontractors in line with contractual agreements.
  • Analyze historical financial data to aid in the development of funding requirements and future spending forecasts.
  • Update and maintain funding documentation and review monthly invoices for accuracy.
  • Process employee Travel Authorization Requests (TAR) and ensure compliance with relevant travel regulations.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for travel from the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Review and approve business travel expense reports, ensuring adherence to travel regulations and corporate policies.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented with strong technical, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and accounting principles.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other MS Office applications.
  • Experience collaborating with government and contractor teams across various projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of completion.

Clearance Requirements:

  • No active clearance is required for this position.

Educational Background:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Two years of experience in the Defense Industry is preferred.

Travel Expectations:

Travel is not anticipated for this role.

Work Environment:

This position is based at QED Corporate offices.

Candidates must be able to:

  • Move independently.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Spend extended periods seated at a desk and using a computer.
  • Navigate stairs and other work areas.

Position Type and Work Hours:

This is a full-time role, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility around core hours.
