Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost estimation models to support program decision making and budgeting.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of cost data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with program managers and engineers to develop and maintain cost estimates and budgets.
  • Provide financial management and technical expertise to support the materiel acquisition process.
  • Support the Planning, Programing, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process with analytical assessments and development of key documentation.
  • Work with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army – Cost and Economics office on program cost estimating.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Program Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience managing government programs or 16 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of direct experience with verbal and written communication, including presentations and briefings.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with the DoD 5000 series regulations and analytical measurement skills to assist product teams.
  • Government program management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, trade-off analysis, lifecycle costing, risk management, supportability, test and evaluation, and requirements development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to be independently mobile.
  • Ability to withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
