Culinary Professional

Perkins Management Services is seeking a skilled culinary professional to join their team as a cook. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food industry and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the executive chef to develop diversified menus that meet client and company standards.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all products.
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, maintaining excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food.
- Produce high-quality dishes that adhere to established menus and location standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment, such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
- Keep work areas neat and clean, cleaning and maintaining equipment used in food preparation.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Follow executive or sous chef instructions and demonstrate leadership qualities.
Requirements:
A successful applicant must have:
*2+ years of experience as a cook in the food industry.
*Knowledge of safe food handling practices and the ability to pass food safety exams and/or trainings.
*A team player attitude, dependability, reliability, and respectability, with excellent customer service skills.
