Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a motivated and empathetic candidate for our Entry Level Graphic Designer position. This role is essential in supporting various departments, including marketing, clinical, compliance, and operational functions, in collaboration with the Director of Graphic Design.
Work Schedule- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Collaborate with the Director of Graphic Design to create high-quality visual materials for both print and digital platforms, including handbooks, brochures, flyers, signage, promotional items, presentations, and online content.
- Engage with team members to conceptualize and execute successful design projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain and update collateral materials to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Uphold brand standards by ensuring consistency in voice and visual identity across all materials.
- Verify that all materials comply with regulatory requirements prior to distribution.
- Provide and receive creative feedback, working collaboratively to enhance design outcomes.
- Oversee workflow for various design initiatives.
- Update social media content and manage related resources.
- Assist in the management and continuous improvement of the internal company intranet.
- Support additional projects as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or a robust portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are essential).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel are necessary).
- Familiar with web design platforms such as WordPress.
- Able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Capable of deriving design solutions from diverse data sources.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong teamwork abilities; willing to share knowledge and learn from colleagues while maintaining a positive demeanor.
