Per Diem Physical Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in an inpatient acute setting at St. Anne Hospital in Burien, WA. As a Per Diem (PRN) Physical Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and functional abilities. You will develop customized treatment plans based on assessment findings and in accordance with physicians' orders.
Responsibilities- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve rehabilitation goals.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and activities to support recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
- Graduation from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- State licensure for the practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Inpatient acute experience highly preferred.
- Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.
- Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.
- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.
- Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.
