Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Per Diem - Swedish Medical Center Float Pool team. As a Per Diem Medical-Surgical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in various medical-surgical units, including emergency, tele, and intensive care units.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Float to all 7 campuses: Ballard, Cherry Hill, Edmonds, First Hill, Issaquah, Mill Creek, and Redmond.
Requirements
  • 1-year minimum experience in medical-surgical nursing.
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Active WA RN license.
  • EPIC charting experience.
  • Ability to work days, 12 hours.
Additional Information
  • Returning employees are eligible to apply after a 6-month separation from any Providence/Swedish facility.
  • Travelers may not work at a Providence facility and accept a travel job at another Providence facility at the same time.
