About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Cloud Presales Specialist to join our team at Softchoice. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for sourcing demand and leading enablement activities with sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of a clean, accurate, and sufficient pipeline for AWS product and services.
  • Execution of sales enablement tactics in focus districts to support sales with AWS GTM strategies and opportunity generation.
  • Providing support through the entire opportunity sales cycle from qualify to close, and acting as the SME for AWS programs for customers and sales.
  • Collaborating with Regional Business Development Managers on "selling" Softchoice as a go-to-partner to AWS and supporting alignment with sales and AWS.
  • Ensuring a smooth customer onboarding experience by working alongside our operations team and distributors.
  • Maximizing the use of AWS funding programs for all AWS services opportunities.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally from within the technology industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in solution sales with consistent year-over-year performance to plan.
  • Commitment to process and goal-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills for complex sales cycles.
  • Delivery of exceptional customer service and experience.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong executive presence and effective communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency with a demonstrable understanding of Cloud computing.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (required for the role).
  • Experience working in opportunity management, forecasting, and reporting.
