We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Provider Medical Assistant to support our clinical operations across various locations. This role involves collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to deliver essential nursing services while adhering to established protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial patient interviews and accurately document their medical history.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and medical procedures.
- Facilitate diagnostic testing and promptly relay results to patients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms.
- Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation, including written forms and electronic health records.
- Administer medications and injections as directed.
- Coordinate with pharmacies and patients regarding prescription orders.
- Proficient understanding of clinical practices and procedures.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on effective communication.
- Capacity to perform well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to travel between different office locations as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, particularly in OB/GYN or primary care settings.
- Must possess a current Medical Assistant Certification or be able to obtain it within the first year of employment.
