Job Description

Zachry is a leading provider of construction services, seeking experienced Oilers and Lubrication Technicians to work on Heavy Construction Equipment projects in the Asheville, NC area.

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled technicians to maintain and repair heavy equipment, including cranes, pavers, dirt equipment, plant equipment, and other machinery. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in the Heavy Equipment Maintenance industry or an educational degree in Diesel-related technical courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication checks
  • Conduct visual inspections on equipment and provide written reports of conditions and deficiencies
  • Service a wide variety of construction equipment, including cranes, pavers, dirt equipment, plant equipment, and other types of machinery
  • Work safely and follow all instructions related to company policies and regulatory agencies during the performance of duties
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must possess a Class A or B CDL with X endorsement and Hazmat in order to drive a service truck. Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical examination and must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of oil analysis and ability to read results
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of following directions and effectively working in a team environment
