As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing emergencies and critical care skills with confidence and expertise.
Responsibilities:- Manage critical care skills, including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes.
- Care for a range of patients from urgent care and simple procedures to psychological, pediatric, and critical care/trauma.
- Coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing needs.
- Ensure the highest level of safety and quality in patient care.
- Promote a positive patient experience.
- Proficiency in managing emergencies and critical care skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work within a team environment while ensuring patient care is paramount.
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience; Level 1 trauma experience required.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- BSN is highly desired.
