Job Description:
- Work in a fast-paced emergency department environment treating a wide variety of patients, including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients.
- Manage critical care skills to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Participate in an AM/PM rotating schedule with 3 x 12-hour shifts.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of emergency and critical care nursing practices.
- Promote a positive patient experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience, with required level 1 trauma experience.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, ACLS certifications.
- Critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
