Labor and Delivery Nurse

Nurses 24/7 is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team for a 12-week contract in Morristown, New Jersey.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our patients, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- A minimum of one year of current experience as an R.N. in the specialty of Labor and Delivery.
- Current active Registered Nurse license in the state of assignment without disciplinary action.
- Must maintain a current AHA BLS (ACLS, NRP, PALS if applicable) certification.
- Must pass all prerequisite screening requirements (testing, medical and criminal, etc).
