Speech Language Pathology Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support our team in Northampton, MA. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language therapy to students.
  • Implement therapy plans and activities as directed by the Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in conducting assessments and screenings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective communication and support.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • Current SLPA license in Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
