Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Immigration Specialist to join our team at Mediabrands Worldwide, Inc. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all U.S. immigration cases, including non-immigrant and immigrant petitions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage all U.S. immigration cases, including non-immigrant and immigrant petitions
  • Educate and support foreign national employees, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders on U.S. visa and immigration policies, procedures, and processes
  • Track and maintain internal documentation for immigration/visa purposes
  • Make independent decisions related to visa processing, taking into account customer and business needs, as well as immigration vendor input
  • Advise employees on travel restrictions and general direction related to the visa process
  • Run ad-hoc reports on visa and immigration, headcount, and promotions
  • Respond to immigration questions, review issues, and provide counsel on company immigration guidelines, legal requirements, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, responsible for Immigration Invoicing Processes, and Public Inspection Files and Audit
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of U.S. immigration experience
  • Ability to work with confidential and time-sensitive information
  • Strong quantitative skills, MS-Excel, Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service skills
  • Process-driven, proven ability to build collaborative relationships and be a team player
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus, experience working with external service providers to deliver projects and services
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-national, global team environment
