About the Opportunity:

We are a leading real estate investment and property management company with a diverse Southern California portfolio. If you have 1-3 years of litigation experience and a passion for real estate, this may be a good fit for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform legal research on real estate, employment disputes, and habitability claims.
  • Oversee the Unlawful Detainer docket, perform discovery, engage in motion practice, and prepare for trials.
  • Appear for motion hearings, ex-parte hearings, and trials.
  • Assist with pre-litigation dispute resolution.
  • Review and update corporate forms and documents, including lease agreements and property management forms.

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and in good standing with the CA Bar.
  • 1-3 years of litigation/trial prep experience.
  • 1-3 years of discovery experience, including written discovery, depositions, and 3rd party subpoenas.

Nice to Have:

  • Unlawful Detainer trial experience.
